AVNads is AdBrite’s adult ad serving alternative, and accepts almost all sites. The downside to this is quality ads are diminished and cost-per-click remains low. However, it is one of the best ad serving programs for adult content, paying much higher than other adult publisher programs.

Payment Methods

Payment is made via check, with the same net-60 program used by AdBrite, basically meaning your payments are sent out after 60 days.

Statistics Given

AVNads give basic statistical information; banner impressions, average cost per click and total clicks.

Currently AVNads serve banner ads and text links. They are easily customizable from within the control panel and can be placed into your website seamlessly.

AdEngage: Engaging Internet Advertising

Payment Amount

AdEngage run in a similar fashion to AdBrite – allowing advertisers to select sites they want to have their ads shown on. This is great if you have a large website with a lot of traffic – as advertisers can put in high bids to have their ads delivered onto your large website, however for smaller sites – payment can be quite low (4 cents per click).

Payment Methods

AdEngage offers payments through check, PayPal, ePassporte, Western Union, and wire transfer, with a minimum payout of $20. Payment is made on the 15th of the following month – which means you can see money in your hand within a month. (more…)

Adsense or Affiliate Programs?

As my sites get more and more search engine traffic, I am faced with trying to figure out how to best monetize my traffic. I am currently using mainly Google Adsense ads, but since I have added more affiliate programs to pages that are getting traffic I am noticing a very nice increase in my monthly income.

I have read in many places that affiliate ads that are prominently displayed will take away from your adsense income. I must agree that on sites where my affiliate programs are simply generally related to my site as a whole, my affiliate income is almost non-existent. However lately I have been studying my traffic logs closely and looking at the search phrases people have been using to find my pages.

Once I have determined the key phrase, I then narrow it down to the page they found when they typed in that phrase. Once this is established I search high and low for an affiliate product that matches “that page” and “that key phrase”. Once this golden affiliate program has been found, I add it prominently to the page. (more…)

Whats different with this site?
You don’t have only an ad on their website but its also possible to enter related keywords. These keywords are used to show your ad on a page with the name of the keyword (content targeting). The visitor can choose the keywords from a word cloud or gets a results based on a keyword related search.

Free advertising
Each ad placement on bla.st is free, if you place an ad for some new keyword, the ad is placed on the top of this new keyword page. If the advertiser want to place an ad on the homepage or on some other popular keyword page, it’s possible to buy an ad placement. The advertiser with the highest bid earns the top position. It’s possible to have multiple related keywords for one advertisement.
